Facilities
The Cardinal Hill Swim Team features:
- A location on a rolling 7-acre tract surrounded by a scenic, wooded
country-side.
- Three separate pools
- Olympic size main pool: 50 x 25 meters
- training pool: 50 x 25 feet
- wading pool: 30 x 20 feet (fenced in)
- A large, well-appointed bath house.
- A full service snack bar with an eating area and a covered cabana area
with picnic tables where members may enjoy refreshments.
- Spacious lounging area, picnic area, and a beach volleyball court.
- Seven tennis courts for year round use. Four courts are lighted. This
extends playing time until 10:00 p.m.
- A 30 x 15 foot tennis house with rest rooms.
- Membership in the Northern Virginia Swimming, Diving and Tennis Leagues.
- Swimming, diving and tennis lessons.
- A carefully chosen, experienced, competent pool and tennis staff.
- Ample parking space.
- A maximum limit of 600 full memberships affording pleasant uncrowded
conditions.
- Membership fee of $1025.00 and
Renovation Fee of $2500.00
(redeemable in accordance with the by-laws).
- Provisions in the club by-laws allows for conveyance of membership with
the sale of your house to prospective buyer. The buyer must make application
to the club. The sale of the membership will be finalized after settlement
on the sale of the house.
- Annual dues are $700.00 year. The Dues year runs from Nov 1 until October 31. Dues may be adjusted annually to meet operating expenses.
- Waiting list deposit $25.00 (This fee is non-refundable but will be
applied to the $150.00. Initiation Fee when full membership is accepted).
Your canceled check is your receipt.
- Initiation Fee $150.00 (paid at time of full membership).
- Tennis key deposit $10.00 (key opens gate in winter months for off-season
play).
- A leasing agreement is offered to the top 20 or so on the waiting list.
The charge for a lease this year is $800.00 ($700.00 for dues $100.00
leasing fee). The leasing fee is non-refundable.
- Waiting time for membership and leasing varies.
- During the winter months the pool, is connected to an automatic answering machine.Please leave your name and telephone number and your call will be returned.
