For the 2011 dive season, we are pleased to have Brenda Massey as our head coach. Brenda dove for 9 years with Woodley Recreation Association and for 4 years at Falls Church High School, where she competed each year in Districts and Regionals. During her junior and senior years, she was the National District Diving Champion. Brenda was the dive coach for Marshall High School for the 2010-2011 Winter Season.
Brenda is married to Patrick Massey, a PE and Health teacher for Fairfax County who also coaches Men’s Lacrosse at Marshall High School. They have a 3-year-old son named Cooper, whom you will probably see around the pool since both Patrick and Brenda would love for Cooper to learn to dive as soon as possible!
We are happy to report that Nick Everett will be returning this year as an assistant coach. Sydney Shelton will also be serving as an assistant coach.
